JT Bootcamp

This camp belongs to JTyoung and will help him understanding and learning RP.

Ok, so how exactly do we start?

(Essentially, you just type out how your character would react to these situations. You're basically writing a story with the other person, so try to use proper grammar, spelling, and the like. Also note that anything that happens in this bootcamp didn't happen in the actual rp. These are two different universes.)

Holding his basketball in his left hand while wandering the Sunken Mall, Marcus was currently looking for his girlfriend. The boy let out a disappointed sounding sigh as he continued looking through the windows of each store, only to find his girlfriend wasn't there.
He wanted her to go with him to a game but she ran off somewhere as soon as they met up in the shopping center. There was only one hour left before the game started and he really hoped that she would pop up before then. He wanted to ask someone to help him, but he really wasn't the kind of person to go out and talk to another person that he didn't know very well. He was in quite the predicament right now.

Suddenly, a boy walked up to him. He looked both awkward and friendly, as if he didn't really want to talk, but he felt he needed to. "Hey! Er... You seem to be looking kinda stressed. What's on your mind?"

Turning his attention to the newcomer, Marcus let out a sigh before scratching the back of his head with his free hand. He felt a little relieved that someone approached him first. "Just looking for my girlfriend. You seen her? She's got black hair with a pink strand to the left of her face, wearing a yellow jacket, mischievous smile on face."

The stranger, whose name wss JT, thought for a second. "Hmm... I don't really remember. Sorry. Maybe I could help you find her! Where was the last place you two were together?"

The boy had a shocked expression on his face since he didn't think someone would actually help him. "Seriously? I appreciate it. I met up with her at the food court about fifteen minutes ago before she ran off somewhere. She's a rising pop idol so I thought she'd be in a music store but no dice."

JT smiled at him. "Hey, no problem man. It's the least I could do." He then noticed that Marcus had a basketball in his hands. "Say, I couldn't help but notice that basketball. Does she like sports? Maybe she's at a sports store."

"She likes basketball, our date today is going to a basketball game and all, but I've been trying to get better at using my right hand; hence why I'm carrying it around everywhere. I mean, she could be there, but I'm not holding my breath," the redhead responded, balancing the ball with his right finger to demonstrate.

"Well, it wouldn't hurt to look, right? For all we know, she could be getting some type of gift for you! Is there some sort of special occasion or something big about this game?" JT asks.

JT, i'm sorry for not getting back to this. Shadow is more or less gone for now, but from this you seem like you're good to rp.

Please create a thread in character creation station for your OC, then wait for the mods to look it over to see what changes need to be made if any. Then once that's done, we'll add you to the group that will let you rp in the main area.

Well, in my character's backstory, it says he and his mother purchased a house in Peach Creek Estates, but I can change that if there's a problem. Any place in the part of the suburbs closer to the wilds is fine.
