Jon silently walked down to his office. Not really paying attention, as he was fiddling with a small cpu, that he planned to build a computer with. When he got his apartment of course. The place wass a real steal, and was even in a good neighborhood! He had the money, and just needs to seal the deal. As he thought about it, he came to wonder how he would adjust, but then he ignored it. When he got there, to his cramped little "office", which was really just a shed, he grabbed his hazmat suit and went to find another cleanup for infections of the Fusion sort.

A squad of Asphalt Thiefs were close to his apartment complex, all of them just hanging around the street corner and waiting for their next victim.

Still not paying attention, but feeling uneasy, Jon walked forward with increasing urgency, and the hairs on his neck went up as if he was being watched. Thinking instinctively, as he had been in for a jump before and noticed signs of one, he crept forward and took out his scattergun, which he always had close by.

Spotting the kid, the Fusions ran at him, their arms made of drills raised high, prepared to attack.

But he was ready. He quickly dispatched the closest one with its drill coming straight at his small chest. The aftereffects of the shot were very pertinent and showed small holes that ate through the fusions skin. Though Jon didn't register one creeping up behind him slowly until the drill almost graced his head. Trying to sidestep, Jon wanted to see his attackers and their numbers. He moved back a bit to try and widen the view.

(Please remember to avoid godmodding; posting the actions of another person. Against Fusions it's okay, but limit your use of it because a Mod may have something in mind when using the Fusions).

The first Fusion that was hit dissolved into Fusion Matter. The second Fusion stumbled, thrown off by the human moving out of the way. The third Fusion that had been with the squad charged the human head on.

Ill be careful when I hit the subject.

Jon was only half prepared then, as the drill hit his arm. It didn't go deep, but it did hurt incredibly. Screaming didn't help. The pistol he kept upholstered in his jeans was in his hand quickly before real damage could be done, and he quickly shot as many rounds as he could into the thing before the second assaulter could recover and attack too, most likely.

The Fusion that had struck Jon also turned into Fusion Matter from the hits. The second Fusion attempted to get close, but Jon's firing kept it at bay. In anger, the alien roared.

Jon, unknowing of what the roar meant besides anger, quickly picked up the scattergun that fell in the struggle with his good arm, and splayed another shot out with it. Missing his mark, it instead hit the drill part of the arm from the Fusion.

The Fusion screeched in pain and used the other hand to strike at Jon.

Spitting blood from biting his cheek, Jon quickly unused the momentum of the thug's arm to push him within shooting range, and got another shot off, this time at the fusions leg, with the acid worsening the balance of the monster as the acid creeped up the drill arm and looked even more painful.

The Fusion roared in pain, but turned into Fusion Matter.

Sighing slowly, Jon sunk to his knees. The adrenaline was wearing off, and he didn't want to feel the real pain of that drill. Thinking fast and overactive, Jon even thought it could be infected! Rushing to the hospital, he left his hazmat suit behind and burst through the hospital front doors that were a minutes run nearby, all the while thinking, "this was supposed to be a nice neighborhood!"

Some patrons in the front lobby glanced over at the kid throwing the doors open, but turned back around. A teen girl with pink hair walked over to him, looking concerned.

"Are you alright?" the girl asked.

Now it burned. The pain, it was incredible. He hadn't experienced that much of a fight before, taking on three fusions. He panted at the girl and wheezed out the words, "my arm.." before sagging down in the floor and tears came.

The girl's eyes widened and she bent down to his level. Over her shoulder, she shouted orders for a member of the hospital staff to bring her a wheelchair. She reached for his arm, intending to look it over.

"Stay awake," the girl ordered, her tone going from gentle to firm.

"I know I know I know..." Jon repeated to himself and the girl over and over until they set him up in the wheelchair. He started over again in a shaky voice and told her as much as possible. The drill, how it hadn't gone very far in, what he did to win and so on. The pain recoiled though as she tried to move his arm to look at it. "Ooo, that... ow..."

"This looks pretty deep. Some Fusion goop got in yah," the girl muttered, eyeing the injury intensely. She tapped the side of her hip, and from the round communicator appeared a miniature version of Eduardo appeared, floating by her head. "Nano Eduardo, use Papas Fritas on his injury."

"Lo tienes," the Nano cried, using its health power on the arm.

The effect on actual healing worked pretty well, but the affect on pain didn't feel as strong. Jon did let out a small sigh of relief, but then turned to just a neutral face, as he could deal with this lesser pain. "What else do you need to do?" He asked the nice and seemingly experienced girl tending to his wound. "For the Fusion matter?"

"Disinfect it," the girl replied, pushing the NanoCom and making Nano Eduardo disappear. "Luckily, you got here before it could do some serious damage. We'll get you in surgery and take care of it."

The girl stood up and a nurse came forward, preparing to wheel Jon to one of the hospital's empty rooms.

Feeling a bit tired, because the initial pain had worn off and left a dull aching sort of pain, he lamely asked for a cup of water before they got to the operating room. "I feel pretty thirsty..." He thought out loud and licked his chapped lips.

(They aren't going to surgery; they're going to a regular room.)

"You can have some water once we get the infection handled," the girl, walking beside the wheelchair, said. "We don't want to add more fluids to your body just yet."

The nurse who had pushed Jon and the girl helped Jon onto the bed once they reached one of the empty rooms. The nurse ran off to grab equipment while the girl went to the cabinet to grab some gloves.

"Stay awake," the girl ordered for a second time.

"I am I am, geez. How long *yawn* will this take?" Jon quizzed the girl who seemed to know much more about medicine than he had predicted.

"Half hour at the most. We've been able to reverse engineer the Antidote found in most Nanos and were able to come up with an antibiotic of our own to counter the effects in humans, EVOs, aliens, etc. Demons are the only ones who seem to have a natural antibiotic against it," the girl answered. "I just have to clean around the area, patch you up, and then inject you with the antibiotic so it can kill off any stragglers."
