Appearance:

Masaru has dark red hair that's spiked up,but goes down to the bottom of his neck. He's got fairly tan skin and green eyes, while wearing a generally punk-ish type of outfit which consists of a chain around his neck,that of which holds a locket with a picture of his parents in it, a black and red ripped up jacket with a gray and red striped undershirt, of course, his steel left arm and foot, with black fingerless gloves. He also sports some dark gray,acid-damaged shorts and black and gray Mondo's.

Origins: Human/Cyborg (His Left arm and left foot are made out of a light steel.)

Strengths: Has high stamina, more emotionally invested in general, is the Leader type.

Weaknesses: When someone mentions his past, can be fairly insecure about his cyborg parts, not very skilled in the intelligence department.

Personality: A very emotional young man, Masaru Liu is the Leader type. He can be quick to judge,but he can be very optimistic in certain situations. He's kind of lazy,but only when he can afford to be. Full of energy, Masaru is very caring for his comrades. When his past his mentioned, he gets very high tempered and talks quickly. He also sees himself as a burden to everyone around him,so he tries to make sure he acts non-disrespectful to others, as to not make them even more angry with him.

History: Born in 2033, Masaru Liu was born to a young, loving couple. Raised with love, Masaru had a pretty decent childhood until he was 10 years old. His parents could no longer afford to take care of him, so he was sent off to live with his only Uncle, Kenshiro. His Uncle was very rude to him, and just about hated Masaru. Masaru was treated very poorly by his uncle,to the point of it being classified as abuse. A year before Masaru ran away, his Uncle decided to teach him a lesson,because he was completely furious and done with Masaru's disrespectful behavior. This "lesson" was basically just de-limbing his left arm and leg,then giving him the steel cyborg parts.

A year later, when Masaru was 13,he ran away from his uncle's home when it started getting attacked by fusion monsters. He ran and ran until he found himself in Pokey Oaks North. He lived by himself in the general area of Pokey Oaks North and South, where he learned about the war. He was honestly thankful that the fusion monsters had attacked his Uncle,so he escaped with just a simple sword and his courage.

Nowadays,he hangs around the Cul-De-Sac and Candy Cove, not really working for anyone or really owns anything besides the clothes on his back, and his Uncle's old sword.
