Mari lays in the grass with her headphones in. She's listening to I'm Just Your Problem, humming along subconsciously.

A little girl with brown hair and holding a teddy bear ambles by Mari. She gives Mari a odd look and wanders over to her, not saying much of anything.

Mari quickly notices her and stops humming. "Do you need something" she ask the small girl.

"Arctos is wondering what you were listening to." The little eight year old says, holding up her bear.

"Well, Mari is listening to I'm Just Your Problem by Marceline the Vampire Queen." She was puzzled Acrtos' reference to herself in third person.

"Why are you saying your name when you speak?" The girl slowly lowers her bear, tilting her head in wonder at the girl, "My mommy knows Marcy, but they don't get along."

Mari's face blushes. "I thought you were Act-, eh." Mari sighs."Never mind." She pulls herself up on her feet and dust herself off."Why wouldn't your mommy like Marcy? She's a great singer and a great person."

"It's their musical differences. My mommy is a pop star and the two haven't seen eye to eye when it comes to music." The girl tells the elder girl with a sweet smile. She decides to take a seat on the grass, hugging her teddy rather tight.

Mari sat back down next to the girl. "Who's your mommy." she asked the girl with genuine curiosity. She could only think of a few people in the industry who would dislike Marcy, most of them being salty wannabe artist.

"Mallory Akizuki!" The girl says happily, a large grin spanning her face.

Mari's eyes opened wide with surprise." You're Mallory Akizuki's daughter!" she said surprised."What are you doing here? Shouldn't you have a body guard or something?!"

"I can take care of myself, big brother taught me how to fight." The little girl answers with a fist pump.

Mari was skeptical, but who was she to talk. After all she killed her first Fusion when she was 10. "Even so, the Fusions here are very strong. They like to attack in groups and wouldn't have any problems with eating a booger like you." Mari reached out to the girl to pull her up. "I'll take you to the nearest KND or Rangers site."

"Fine." The little girl says with a pout. She was 8! She could take care of herself. She drank milk!

Mari smiled to herself. Kyara reminded her of Milly. "Why are you here anyway? Even if you can take care of yourself, which I'm sure you can, this forest isn't the safest place for anyone of any age." she asked as they made their way through the forest.

"Because I like to explore with Arctos!" Kyara explains while beaming, "We always wander off and find adventures." She would go onto explain her latest adventure with her teddy.

Mari listened to the little girl, letting her ramble on about adventures. For an 8 year old Kyara had experienced a lot. She was amazed how she could be so cheerful and happy in this war. The two arrived at a KND station outside the forest. "Here we are." she announced

"I haven't been here before!" Kyara shouts and holds up Arctos, "I'm sure we can have an adventure here!"

"I'm sure you two will, but don't go off by yourselves. I don't want to find you being attacked by Fusions and have to save you." she teased.

"I won't wander off. I promise!" Kyara says with a nod and wriggles out of the girl's arm and runs for the outpost.
