Cameron (Cam) Friendsalot

This is the first draft of my OC/Imaginary Friend for the forums.


Name: Cameron (Cam) Friendsalot
Age: 12
Ethnicity: Imaginary
Race (If your OC is an alien): N/A
Allegiance: Good Guys
Origins: Imaginary Friend
Powers: Cameron has several powers from other cartoon characters.
But only has them for a duration for about 30ish seconds. Lets say he wanted to use Blossom's ice breath, he could, for only a duration for about 30 seconds.
He also has about 1 minute from switching from power to power. He gets these powers from his imaginary energy.
In RP talk, he has his powers for 2 posts, and he can't use any for 4 posts after that, after those 4 posts, he can use another power.
Appearance: Cameron looks very similar to Mac, because the lady who imagined him liked Mac a lot. So she tried to imagine a friend that looks just like Mac.
Cameron has light-red hair, pale skin, glasses like Dexters, has a short sleeve flannel t shirt as a overshirt, that is over a blank white t-shirt. He also has jean shorts, and
red slip on shoes.
Strengths: 1.) Cameron has a unmatchable knowledge on characters in the CN Universe, because the girl that imagined him basically only watched cartoons from Cartoon Network.
2.) Cameron is very into music, he loves to play the cello, piano, and the acoustic guitar. He usually plays these instruments because the girl that imagined Cameron had lessons
on those instruments. And in the girl's spare time, she would only really play those instruments, play video games, or watch Cartoon Network. Cameron's favorite instrument out of the 3 is the piano.
3.) Cameron is a master at video games. As stated, he and the girl that imagined him usually either played video games, watch CN, or practice/play music. The girl that imagined Cameron
had a huge assortion of games. From arcade cabinets to home console games. Cameron and the girl that imagined him played every game in their collection about over 50 times.
Cameron's favorite video game is PizzaMan and Acoustic Hero. (parodies of PacMan and Guitar Hero)
Weaknesses: 1.) As stated, Cameron is a master at video games. Though, being a master at them doesn't come at a free cost. Cause he usually has his eyes on the screen so much,
he lost most of his eye sight. But, he does wear glasses and even contacts in occasions. Whenever Cameron is going to be in the battle with fuse and his minions, his glasses are going to be his weak spot.
Though I can see enemies not doing so most of the time.
2.) Cameron's powers don't last forever. His powers can only last for about 30ish seconds, because the girl that imagined him didn't want him using someone like Ben 10's powers to go Way Big or Humongosaur
and just trash on the entire city. He also has about 1 minute to switch from power to power. In RP talk, he has his powers for 2 posts, and he can't use any for 4 posts after that, after those 4 posts, he can use another power.
3.) Cameron is very well trained in 1v1 duels, but can't really verse well against groups of fusion monsters. If there's a mob of something like Ball-Peen Meanies, he can really only target 1 or 2 of them at a time.
Personality: Cameron is a very nice imaginary friend to have, he is very thoughtful, generous, and about any synonym of happy or nice. Whenever Cameron meets any CN universe characters, he starts to fanboy out.
Like, COMPLETE FANBOY. He will do this because he always wanted to meet a character from the CN universe.
History: Cameron was imagined because whenever the girl imagined him, the girl was at a alone state. Had no friends, besides her family. The girl imagined him because she wanted someone cool, and very nice.
Whenever her parents found out, the parents didn't mind about it. They were happy because the girl finally had a friend that she could hand out there. Whenever the girl imagined him, she was 7.
The girl and Cameron used to play for HOURS after she got out of school. Playing video games, playing music, and even watching CN! Cameron would usually go to the girl's music classes,
and Cameron learned about music from there.

The fuse outbreak happened whenever Cameron was 7, and the girl that imagined him was 14 at the time. The family the girl that imagined Cameron was currently living in Pokey Oaks North at the time.
About 1 month after the outbreak happened, the family was still living in the same house. Then, a duo of Mean Behemoths decided to completely raid the family's house. Whenever the family was cornered,
Cameron decided to take matter into his own hands. He decided to take matters into his own hands. With his powers, he decided to make himself Grim's scythe, and destroy the first Mean Behemoth. Whenever he
took on the second one, the last his the second Mean Behemoth got almost completely took out Cameron, they went blow for blow on the last hit. He destroyed the last Mean Behemoth, yet the Mean Behemoth hit Cameron with a very strong punch right at the second that
Cameron sliced the Mean Behemoth. From the punch, Cameron flew from Pokey Oaks North, all the way over to Forgotten Falls. Though he didn't die from the landing he got for flying all that radius.
He got a case of amnesia. Though he still knew his name. He tried to get out of The Wilds for a very long time. He met several friends on his way there, but only left them because he knew he had to get out of the rotten Wilds.
In about a time of around 13 months, he made his way from Forgotten Falls to Prickly Pines. Whenever he saw the path through the Prickly Pines, he found out he was out of the woods. He was so happy, after about over a year,
he could finally roam free from The Wilds. The first thing he saw when he got out of The Wilds was Frankie at the gates of Fosters. He knew by heart this was the place he was trying to find for years! He went in, said he's a imaginary friend, and they took him. To date, he remains inside Fosters waiting to get adopted
Do you use nanos: No, because Cameron is a imaginary friend.

I see I need more into Cameron's history, but its late and I'll work on it later... >.>

First off, you don't need "rp talk" because the time between posts is different each instance. A strain of fifteen posts could take place over 3 seconds rp time wise, and two posts could take place over half an hour. You can't use posts as an indicator for time.

Powers

While I'm quite iffy on the powers, I'll have to ask the other rp coordinators if this is alright. For now though, can you make a list of the powers he can use?

This is probably the biggest problem. You're treating it like your character is from the real world and has watched all the universes involved in the rp for years. It's hard to explain really, I'll try to explain better if you don't get it. In the rp, they aren't just shows, they're the actual lives of these characters; memories that make up the character. There is no Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends show to obsess over, all the adventures of Finn and the gang weren't recorded and showed on TV. People like the PPG and Ben are well known because of their feats in the war, not because of the fact they came from a popular series, in this universe. Not every CN character is like that though, like how many non Candy people + Finn know who Starchy is? Realistically no one because he's done nothing to make him relevant to non Candy People because Adventure Time doesn't exist as a television show and isn't parading himself around the place to prove he's real. It's fine to know a lot about the famous people through research and word of mouth, but you can't know about the "nobodies" from sources that don't exist. If that makes sense; I'll elaborate if you still don't get it.

How did the creator afford all of this? She's seven, so she couldn't possibly be able to buy so many games, let alone consoles and arcade cabinets. Are her parents rich? They pretty much have to be because arcade cabinets and consoles are a lot of money.

We use the actual names of series in this rp. Just say Pac-Man ad Guitar Hero.

No matter how much you play, it won't make it bad enough so that you lose most of your eye sight. It might make you far or nearsighted, but losing most of it is unlikely. Besides, if you lost most of it anyway, I don't think glasses would help much.

Cameron is very well trained in 1v1 duels, but can't really verse well against groups of fusion monsters. If there's a mob of something like Ball-Peen Meanies, he can really only target 1 or 2 of them at a time.

Why is he only good at one? Does he have problems focusing? Is he just not strong enough to handle all of them? Where did he get the training for 1v1 encounters?

Personality

Please expand it. Very thoughtful and generous are vague.
Does anything trigger memories of his past life? He has amnesia, there's almost no chance that he happened to be exactly the same pre and post attack. If he knows he's an imaginary friend (which he has to if he was looking for Foster's), how does he feel about his creator post attack. Does he still respect them? Does he have secret resentment for them because for all he knows, he was abandoned by them?

When did he discover he had powers? Why does he have powers in the first place? Did his creator just think it'd be cool? Did she think he would be able to defend her entire family with it? Or is there something else?

I don't care if he's an Imaginary Friend, he is essentially a humanoid seven year old child that was knocked halfway across the continent and he lived? If he's not made of the softest material in the world or something, I don't buy it. I'm not even considering the fact that the fact a fusion spawn, not Fuse or an actual fusion character, did it, which I also find highly unrealistic.

This power of his sounds way too OP and reality bending sort of deal. Reality bending powers are not allowed.

These don't add up. Mac is 15/16 now in the Roleplay, which would mean that Mac was only 3/4 when Cam was created. Mac was a toddler back then and as such would look different. So I'm picturing Cam looking as a toddler.

Your OC cannot have all powers, as Kyra stated. It is way too overpowered. I would suggest making your own powers instead of using powers that other people have.

In this universe, Cartoon Network doesn't exist. The characters are REAL people who are living among each other. As such, the cartoons these characters are from don't exist in this world, that is unless a character had a reality show or something.

How is musical talent a strength for Cam? How would this help him in, say, a battle with a Fusion?

I do like how this ties in with your first weakness, but how is being an MLG pro a strength? Again, how would this help him in battle? Has he learned different skills from video games?

This also doesn't add up, as Ben didn't have the Omnitrix at the time Cam was created. Ben was just a normal 8 year old when Cam was imagined.

I'd like to see this section fleshed out. I'd also like to add that the CN Universe is just the normal universe for the characters. You can still have Cam be a fanboy towards the heroes or something, that way it would still fit into the RP.

Nope. You CANNOT turn yourself in Grim's Scythe, as that is EXTREMELY overpowered. Grim's scythe is one of the most powerful objects in this universe, plus I don't think transforming into things is something OCs can do. We don't want a Beast Boy running around.

Why isn't Cam going to look for his family? Were they killed? Or is he just tired of them?
