Luke O'Brien
Name: Luke O'Brien
Age: 15 (Born on June 3rd)
Ethnicity: Irish-American
Allegiance: Neutral
Race: Human
Power Origin: Magic; School of Pyro
Appearance:
Strengths: Luke is an expert skateboarder and roller blader when they have wheels, is extremely athletic, and he's a talented drummer.
Weaknesses: Luke has a very bad temper, he has a fear of vehicles like cars or buses, and he has a poor sense of direction.
Personality: Luke is a cocky kid when it comes to most things in life, including skateboarding and rollerblading. He is especially proud of the fact that he can skateboard and roller blade with old technology, and will yell at someone if they make fun of old-school. When he loses, he becomes a sore loser and refuses to acknowledge whoever defeats him in a contest. The reason behind this cockiness is because in his opinion, being the best is all Luke has left since his siblings are dead and his parents don't love him. Luke is also extremely greedy, willing to do anything for money for the same reason why he is so cocky.
However, Lucky has a kinder side that he shows to people that have gone through the same pain as him. He is distant from people he thinks have had an easy childhood, refusing to work with them on even the simplest of tasks. He is extremely judgmental, which plays a factor in why he doesn't really desire to be around other people. Once he becomes friends with someone, he considers them like family and becomes furious when they get hurt by someone.
He gets angry very easily. If someone says so much as one joke that might be taken the wrong way, Luke will attack them. When somebody tells him something he didn’t want to hear, he will punch something and run off to be alone again. Even if a person accidentally touches Luke, he will try to hurt them.
History: Luke O’Brien was one of the unluckiest people on the planet. Born in Ireland but raised in the slums of Townsville, Luke had lost a lot of things in his short life. When he was three years old, his oldest brother was run over and killed by a car right in front of his eyes, traumatizing him to this day. His two remaining older brothers were devastated by this loss, and began arguing all the time. Day after day, Luke was lumped together with his siblings by his parents when they fought. Three years later, both of his parents got sick of the arguing and started hitting them in order to get them to shut them up. When that didn’t work, they started starving their children until they decided to get along. That day never came however, so the parents just abandoned their three boys. Having enough of the other and blaming the other for their parents leaving them to fend for themselves, the two brothers decided to have one last fight, one where the loser had to die.
Luke thought that this would settle everything, but his life just started getting worse from there. The day of the fight came, and the two brothers were ready to kill the other. Something unexpected happened, and they both died from the amount of blood they lost, leaving their youngest brother alone in the world. He thought that by running from the city, he would be able to escape all the pain in the world, so he began stealing money and valuable items from people in order to get enough money to buy an airplane ticket and house back in his homeland. It was through these robberies that he met a girl named Courtney. She noticed him stealing food from a bakery once, and tried to tell him how wrong it was. Noticing how sincere she sounded, Luke decided to give her a chance and listen. Over time, he began looking up to her, eventually thinking of her like she was his sister. It was through her that Luke found out about skate boarding and roller blading and his love for it. The two constantly practiced together, often because Luke begged, and got to know one another very well over the next five years. Luke was happy to be alive for the first time in years.
However, just when he thought he had turned his life around, Luke fell deeper into despair. When he turned eleven, he visited Courtney’s house in order to have his first birthday party. However, two people dressed in black decided to burn down the house in order to kill Luke. The boy wasn’t around when the home burst into flames, but did see the firefighters attempting to put out the flames as well as the people who caused the fire, figuring out that it was his parents using magic. Seeing the damage, he quickly ran away from the scene, thinking that Courtney died in the fire. That was when he decided to throw away everything and to survive in this world through his own power.
Luke constantly trained his body and mind from that day on, awakening his fire magic after a year of hard work. No longer enjoying competitions, he skated for the money only. Realizing that he could always win by looking flashy, he started combing his magic with tricks. Now, he was just a lost boy that didn’t want to be found.

Scorching Spear: Luke jumps towards the target feet first and ignites his feet and kicks them in an attempt to leave a flame on the target. Power: Low

Does he skate on four wheels, or hover? Same for the rollerblades. If it's the former, perhaps mention in his personality how proud he is that he can skateboard old-school and gets angered when someone bad mouths it?
