Weston Everett (WIP)

Name: Weston Everett

Age: 19

Appearance: Weston would be described as your stereotypical "All-American Boy" with his bright blonde hair and big blue eyes and a smattering of freckles across the bridge of his nose. Standing at 5'10" and 140 pounds, Weston is by no means an imposing figure, yet he never tries to seem that way. You'll most likely always catch him with an easy-going smile on his face as he basks in the joy of just being alive.
  Born and raised by his mama in the South, Weston has a strong southern twang and will more likely than not begin or end a sentence with "y'all".
  Just like how his mother dressed him growing up, Weston often sports a pair of trusty wrangler cowboy boots with a pair of jeans thrown over top of them along with a plaid, collared shirt. Most importantly, though, is Weston's trusty cowboy hat that he cherishes almost more than his own mama (but he'll never tell her that, of course). Weston loves this hat so much that he has even installed a magnet inside of it to make sure he never loses it wherever he goes.
  Probably most noticeable, however, are the large, grey, magnetic discs, on the back of his hands as a side-effect of being an EVO. Whenever he uses his powers, more and more of his skin starts to slowly turn a gray metallic color starting with his hands. Thankfully, when he stops using his powers the metal seems to retract back to the discs on his hands and his skin reverts to normal. No one is sure what would happen if he were to become completely metallic.

Powers: Magnetism
-Attraction: Weston can pull magnetic objects through the air.
-Repulsion: Weston can push magnetic objects through the air.
-Weston can only attract or repel away magnetic object, so he won't be able to move stone, wood, etc.
-Weston's magnetic strength relies on his body weight. Attracting on an object lighter than him will bring that object to him while if he tries to pull on an object that's heavier than him, he will instead be pulled to that target. The same goes for repulsion, if he pushes away a lighter object it will fly away from him and if he tries to push against a heavier object he will fly away from the object.  
-Weston does not have unlimited power. Several factors can affect how he can expend his ability:
--Speed: Moving an object at a slower rate will allow him to conserve more energy while moving an object at a faster rate will bring it to/from him quicker but at the cost of more energy
--Length of time: The more time he spends manipulating an object the more he loses strength.
--Flaring: In a move coined by Weston, he is able to flare his magnetic capability to allow him to push/pull a heavier object away/to at the cost of a large portion of his strength. The more force it requires for something to move equals more strength lost.

Strengths:
-While others may stray away from a task, Weston isn't afraid to get his hands or even his whole self dirty. If there is a task that requires someone to get into the nitty gritty, he will always be the first to volunteer.
-Thanks to being raised by a mother who was a nurse, Weston has a strong compassionate heart that will always try to take care of others first.
-If there is one thing Weston hates the most it would be giving up. Weston will be sure to exhaust every possible avenue and give it his all before calling it quits.

Weaknesses:
-Weston loves to live life on the edge and has a huge daredevil streak in him. This often causes him to dive headfirst into danger without thinking it completely through, usually ending up biting off way more than he can chew.
-While compassion is one of his greatest strengths, he also ends up taking care of others well beyond even thinking about taking care of himself first. This can usually cause him to be manipulated and used by others for their own devious means.
-Weston is a simple man with simple goals, anything even mildly complex usually ends up going over his head and leaving him lost and confused.

Likes:
-After accidentally bumping into Juniper Lee one time (and one time only) at the grocery store, Weston has developed a huge crush for the girl and will most likely end up a blubbering mess if he ever meets her again.

Dislikes:
-Passionate disdain towards beets.

Personality: If you looked up southern hospitality in the dictionary, you would see a picture of Weston with his ever-present smile. Weston loves taking care of others and takes great pride in it. If you're ever feeling down or just out of the loop around him, you can be sure you'll be walking away from him with a large smile on your face. He generally tries to make others laugh as much as possible, whether by a joke or something he does, but he never tries to do so for his own gratification. Rather, he wants to make sure to boost everyone else's moods around him and keep a good vibe of positivity.
  However, if you ever try to talk bad about Weston's mama you better be ready to face his wrath. Ain't nobody allowed to talk bad about Mama.

Biography:
  Weston was born and raised by his single mother, Barbara (aka Mama) down in the South. Having never met his father, a beet farmer who walked out on Barbara when she told him she was pregnant with his child, Weston often felt that he had to be the man of the house. Even as a young boy he always told his Mama that he would always take care of her first and foremost.
  This drive to prove himself to his mother is what kept him on a straight and narrow path through most of his formative years. Any chance he could get to mow a neighbor's lawn, help someone with their groceries, or even help an old lady cross the street he would take immediately. Compassion was in his blood. If there was something that you needed help with, chances are you could rely on Mr. Everett to get it done.
   Five years before FusionFall, at age 14 Weston had his whole life flipped on his head. With the explosion of the Nanite Project in Abysus and the spread of nanites across the globe, Weston's body was flooded with active nanites. From this point on Weston felt... off. As if a switch inside of his body has been turned the other way around and there was something underneath the surface of his skin. Being a young, careless teen at the time, though, led Weston to not really questioning much past wondering if this was what puberty really felt like.
  As Weston grew older and started to mature more both physically mentally, him and his mother noticed something awry. On the back of his hands seemed to be small grey freckles, one for each hand. Barbara didn't find it to be harmless and so told her son not to worry about it. Unfortunately, these freckles began to grow in size and it very clearly became obvious as to what they were. Magnetic discs. Growing from his own skin. Any time his hands even got close to something magnetic it would fly to his hands and get stuck until he eventually calmed himself down.
