General Rules

1.) Treat CN characters and other Original Characters with respect; there’s no reason to make things personal between other users. Just remember there’s a difference between your character insulting another character, and you insulting another user.

2.) Do NOT make another account for an OC. Your regular account is what you use to post with while you RP. There is no need to make another account. An account made for just your OC will be deleted.

3.) Realize your limits - No god modding under any circumstances. (What is godmodding?). Do not let your OC be a Sue (What is a Sue?). We all want to be the ultimate hero, but we also have to accept that our characters can’t do everything or overcome everything.

4.) Death is permanent. There are no Resurrect’Ems. If you kill off an OC, they’re gone for good, so think carefully before deciding to have one of your characters die. While you can decide the fate of your own characters, you are never, under any circumstances, allowed to kill a canon character.

5.) Player characters in FusionFall are ambiguously 10 to 14 years old, but your character can be any age you want. We recommend a teenage or adult age character. Of course, this doesn't mean you can role play as an actual infant. The oldest age for an alien or demon is nearly unlimited, but they can't be immortal, so be reasonable. Imaginary Friends can be freshly imagined or hundreds of years old.

6.) Users can have up to three (3) Original Characters active at one time. However, one of your first two characters must be a Human with no Power Origin (i.e Magic, EVO, alien). The reason for this is we want to encourage people to use Nanos; it is a FusionFall RP afterall! In addition, there is a one month wait period for a third OC. You must be a part of the RP for at least one month before you can submit and use a third active OC.

7.) Please use proper grammar to the best of your ability. We know that English isn’t everyone’s primary language and some words are far trickier to spell than they should be, but please just try to make sure your posts are clear and can be understood. Minimal swearing is allowed, like words such as damn or ass. The use of racist, homophobic, transphobic, ablest, etc. slurs is strictly prohibited both in character and out of character.

8.) Limit the use of images in your posts. You don’t need a reaction shot of your character every post. When you’re describing something, you don’t need to put an image of it to help others. Just use words to the best of your ability to describe it. Images should never be posted in RP threads.

9.) Don’t be scared to talk to RP coordinators/admins! We’re not scary monsters. We’re here to help you. Ultimately what we want is for everyone to have fun so don’t feel intimidated; we’ll gladly help if you ask for it!
