Everan (pronounced Ever-in) *HIATUS*

Okay, I think this is it. I think we've got it.

Origins: Evo


Powers: He has smoke like abilities (something like Delson from Infamous). He’s able to do a smoke dash to launch himself forward and through gates. He can only keep this up for twelve seconds but will be winded or unconscious after that. It’s not as fast as running, so it’s mostly to avoid hits in combat. (Medium)

Next up he also has a smoke shot that will damage enemies and travels close to 30 feet but becomes weaker the longer it flies. If he gets a direct headshot it will stun them for a very short time. It drains his stamina when he uses it to often. It is also inaccurate. A much more powerful version, called the cinder missile, works more like a rocket. It’s greatest flaw being that using twice could render him unconscious. (Medium)

He also has a smoke grenade that can stun foes for a time and mess with their senses. Allowing for them to be subdued or for an escape. The longer it’s charged the farther the smoke will go. (Low)

The cinder blast is similar to the smoke shot, but deals little damage and is similar to a shot gun. It releases a large cone of smoke with very little range. It’s main use is to push back enemies or scare off weaker ones. (Low)

Another movement based ability, the “smoke thrusters” are able to give a very small boost, but greatly extend air time. They work similarly to a glide, but don’t have to move forward. To use this Everan just releases a small amount of smoke surrounding his hands. (Low)

Lastly, he has fast healing. It can’t regenerate limbs, but it will heal from things like a bullet. It needs time to kick in, and will only keep him alive for about ten seconds while under heavy fire. But once it starts working it can completely heal him. It’s able to heal minor wounds within half an hour. While more serious injuries will take between a day to a week, depending on how serious it is. A knife cut: 15 minutes. Being stabbed: 1 hour. Broken bone: 1 day. Near death experience (high fall, explosion, crushed from the chest down, etc.): 10-35 days depeding on severity and type of experience.

As a side note, he also has the ability called the “wall of smoke.” It was only used when his nanites reacted to an overwhelming amount of emotion from the failure of his curing. Everan has never been able to use this ability since that event. (High)

Appearance: Slightly taller than average. He has a long yellow ponytail and a small bit of hair covering half his right eye. He wears a black scarf that can be used as a hood and covers all of his neck, a gold sleeveless jacket , black pants, tall golden boots (think mega man's but thinner), black fingerless gloves, and a leather gauntlet on his left hand. He also wears a small ear piece that creates small holograms to work as a nano com. On his back he wears a sword in its sheath. He wears a small, about the size of a fanny pack, around his waist. It has a six shooter and a pile of ammo inside of it. Because of his thin build and long hair, he can often be mistaken for a girl.


Strengths: He’s quick thinking.When he’s in trouble he can quickly come up with a way to solve solve the problem or avoid it entirely.

He’s a bargainer. He’ good with bargains and deals, he can usually work out a deal that works with everyone and greatly decrease prices. This is also useful for information gathering.

He can pick up and use nearly any weapon to an ok degree. In other words, he’s good with a lot of weapons, but he’s not a master. Exceptions being axes, very heavy weaponry, explosives, and most alien weaponry. Though he excels with swords, scythes, pistols, knives, shotguns, and sniper rifles.


Weaknesses: He’s stubborn and will often butt heads with others.This can make unnecessary conflict and cause him to be less trusted for important missions.

He’s prone to overthink things and end up worrying over nothing. This usually causes him to second guess himself and leave him open to attacks. He often dwell on his mistakes. This causes him to doubt himself and hesitate in important situations. Often times leading him to avoid encounters. As a side note, this will also cause issues in social situations.

Hand to hand combat. Without any weapons Everan is a poor fighter. He has no hand to hand combat experience, seeing as he relies greatly on his powers and equipment. Sometimes to the point where he will exhaust his nanites or damage his weaponry.

Personality: Everan can be described described as a hero, kind of. He's not some perfect good doer. He's someone he will always try to do good, but can fail. He's often witty and sarcastic. One of those people who can annoy others to others to the point of leaving. But he's loyal, if someone's in trouble he'll be the first to rush in and save them. While usually light hearted and witty, he'll get serious when needed. He often peaches but does not pray. He swears like a sailor. He can be rude and offensive when trying to make a joke, but tries to avoid insulting people.


History: Everan was a child when he had lost his mother, not even born when it was his father. Before that though, his mother took good care of him. Always working hard to raise a good person. She would write journals full of what she would teach the boy in time. Unfortunately, she never got to. She had died in a house fire. It was caused by faulty furnace malfunctioning. The boy was put into an orphanage on March 23rd 2025, only six days until his birthday. As the years went, the boy grew. While starting out as a quiet shy child, he would eventually crack. He would open up to two sisters. They were and excitable bunch. The three would go on childish adventures, in creeks, forests, and all manner of places. They would grow to be the greatest of friends.

Of course, with this being an orphanage after all, he would have to try and find a new home. He never did encounter any bad people, but none suited him. Whether it was their location, the people themselves, or what they did. He was never able to find people that could call family, so he stayed. He had spent 13 years in that place. His friends had moved on. But they did keep in touch, visiting when they could, speaking of their new lives, and always offering to take him with them. He would always decline, but expressed the want to see them when he left. Sadly, that reunion would never happen.

Thirteen years had passed since his mother’s death. On March 23rd 2043 Planet Fuse began its invasion. Earlier that day, Everan had finally left the place where he grew up. He was off to begin college, that never got very far. Sirens began to wail as green meteors rained from the sky, delivering the invading force. It was chaos, and the boy was in the middle of it. He ran towards hero square in an attempt to find some form of safety. As he made his way there he heard a scream. He froze, desperately searching for where it came from. Then he found its source, a small girl surrounded by the creatures. He ran in, fueled by rage. He did his best, but he was failing. He was dieing, and quickly.

As he began to faint from the onslaught he heard a loud boom and shouts. He woke up hours late in a KND med bay. An agent explained to him that they heard a loud noise and found him and the girl while investigating. They were able to save him, but were surprised at how quickly he had made recovery. They then explained that during his tests, they had discovered that his nanites were active. They explained that that may be why his recovery was so fast, but they hadn’t seen any powers develop. The agent explained that something like this was rarely seen, and that this could be a breakthrough. A Providence agent that was listening suggested that he could come with then back to Providence. The boy quickly denied, trying to politely explain his feeling of distrust towards the organization. They next brought up the possibility of joining DexLabs, seeing they were the leaders in scientific advancement. After that Everan was arranged to be put on a shuttle flying to DexLabs, from there he would help them understand his condition and see what it really was.

When he arrived he mentioned nothing about his condition, only saying that he wanted to help. Rather than being put into the army, he was assigned to help in weapon R&D. Because of this, he would often work with different heroes. They would range from Ben 10, to the PowerPuff Girls, and even to the likes of Samurai Jack. But there was one that truly felt like a fateful encounter. One day he met Generator Rex. An agent of providence, and nanite based super hero. After a failure with the testing of his weapon, Everan was taken to the med bay and examined. Where, once again, It was pointed out that he healed quickly and had active nanites. After that discovery, Rex had offered to deactivate them. The boy quickly took up the offer, hoping to avoid the monstrous transformations he had seen on TV. As Rex began the process something went wrong. Usually when a curable EVO’s curing fails, it’s because they don’t want to comply. But there is a surgical type of EVO known as an incurable, this is what Everan was. After having so much hope to be free the fear of transformation. The overwhelming sadness and disappointment pages him over the edge. His nanites unleashed their full power.

They formed a large ball of smoke pushing everyone away, and causing a scene of panic. Despite that, Rex continued to try and make his way through the wall of smoke. As he did he also attempted to talk to the boy. Reminding him that powers are tied to the emotions, that he needed to focus and calm down. Eventually he made, he attempted to stop them again, still not deactivating them, but he was able to calm them. After that Everan was given the chance to make his own weapon, he made a scythe. After making and testing his new scythe he was put to train with Rex and any other hero that was willing to help. He’s spent time with Ben 10, practising against his alien forms. Bubbles, for calming techniques and to not spend all of his time fighting. Samurai Jack and Agent Six, for sword training and meditation. Gwen Tennyson to learn about magical defense and how to point out illusions. Even Kevin Levin to learn about machines, aliens, and “bartering.” And Rex for nanite control. After a while Rex took him into the field in order to get real experience. He was able to learn how the missions worked and how to work the nanocom. Eventually with Kevin's help he was able to make a wrist mounted plumbers badge that worked with the nanocom. On the back he scribbled “PROPERTY OF EVERAN” on the back in sharpie.

A long time passed. During that time he did his best to help in the war. He worked even harder to improve his skills. He had practiced with Bobo Haha, learning how he was able to move seamlessly through the urban jungle. He even worked with the Grim Reaper, learning more about how to fight with his scythe. Eventually he got a very unexpected message, it was from Dexter. It was a cry for help, unfortunately it cut off before he could hear what was happening.

With great haste he sped off to assist his friend. When he arrived, he made his way to Dexter’s Laboratory. When he opened the doors he only saw darkness. As he walked in the doors shut behind him. Then, in a blinding flash, the lights turned on and he saw it was a party. Today had been his birthday, and his friends wanted to thank him. The party went fine, he loved it. While there he would receive some important items. Gwen would give him a magic backpack that would make anything that fit into it be practically weightless, as well as protected. Ben gave him access to the extranet through his badge. Then Kevin was able to “acquire” some alien weapons and some containment cubes* for him. Dexter had given him a collection of some of the weapons he had helped to make.

Eventually the event died down, and people began to leave. Once the last of the people left Everan did as well. Moving on to his next mission. He camped out near the location, using his new backpack to store the equipment. While drifting to sleep and watching the stars, with a smirk he stated

“So let it begin.”

Extra: Currently he has three weapons. The sword he wears on his back (It looks like Trunk's sword from DBZ). A long range six shooter. And a small blade hidden in his gauntlet that shoots out and retracts with a flick of the wrist.

Do you use nanos: No, because of my “smoking habits”

Origins would be whether your OC is a human, alien, demon, etc. In your case, your OC would be a Human Magic-User.

Your OC is not allowed to own the/an Omnitrix. You are also unable to copy powers. This is to reduce godmodding since having basically ever power is overpowered in and out of itself.

Expand and explain your strengths and weaknesses, in paragraph form preferably. Why would being sarcastic be a strength, and what exactly do you mean by jumping in your head?

You need to expand on the history and give us your character's background. What was their childhood like, how did they acquire their powers, what was their family life like, etc. Also, dimension hopping is not allowed in this RP.

Your OC cannot use Nanos if they have powers. Only vanilla humans with no supernatural/superhuman abilities are able to use Nanos.

How is befriending others a strength? Explain? Being sarcastic is a personality trait, explain how it could be a strength.

Explain how the procrastinating is a weakness. Same with dwelling on their mistakes, how is it a weakness.

The Personality needs a big fix and needs to be in third person.

Please change the history to match the universe, like their early life, things that happened and why the joined the war, etc.

So everything is looking better, but there is no such thing as "yellow Fusions" in this world, and by extension, no Vivian. Vivian herself seems to be overpowered and would never be accepted. OCs are not allowed to have access to all powers, which Vivian is technically an all powerful being aiding Everan. I think it'd be in your best interest to remove her from the character entirely, and perhaps you can make her into her own character!

I believe the word "bargaining" would be better suited in place of charismatic, but I suppose that falls under the umbrella of charismatic. It's not something you should necessarily change, but I get a little nit-picky on this stuff.

If this is the same type symbiote from Ben10 omniverse, this rp does not follow omnivese canon due to it being a seperate canon path from alien force and ultimate alien. But as Prof said, it's extremely OP with what you want with them and wouldn't be allowed on the site.

You're character is good with Haggling, this has nothing to do with Charisma.

With the over thinking thing, it means when she second guesses herself, it causes her to lose time in battle and leaves her vulnerable to attacks?

Also please write all this in third person, not first.

However, you will need to remove the love doctor aspect from your history. Bubbles is married in this universe. Also, "shipping" the main characters is probably a bad idea as a majority of the characters have already entered romantic relationships.

Please, put the history into third person as well.

But here is the thing with nanites. They are either on or off, everyone has potential for power if their nanite activate. Why would the KND want to activate them and why would Dexlab be looking to activate nanites, I would think White Knight would be throwing a fit if they did that.

Rex can't activate nanites, he can only shut them down once activate, but even Rex can shut some nanites down in people, thus they are uncurable. So his involvement in the history wouldn't have caused the nanites to turn on at all. Nanites activate due to certain factors, they sort of kick on, they kick on due to stress or trauma. I'd watch or do more research on the show if I were you.

Van Kliess on the other had can activate nanites, turning people into evos. Most through are horrible monsters.

You need to list what if the power is low, medium or high type since they consume large amounts of energy.

I kind of feel the healing factor is a bit over the top to prevent disease. Plus how long would it take to heal from minor wound?

I'd like it if you replace the third weakness with a skills weakness or something due to the fact that you have so many psychological weaknesses already.

Being a night owl isn't really something that belongs in personality, nor is saying he sometimes breaks the fourth wall. Can you add in another negative trait, cuz I'm not seeing many.

I under stand the waiting game all to well for characters. Things take time, just how things roll along.

I'm gonna be honest with you, I don't know what the high medium low thing is for the powers.

Its to denote just how powerful the ability is.

Not completely crushed, but crushed under rubble. So he wouldn't survive a building falling on him, but he'd survive a car falling on him. Something like 2000 pounds?
